Our familia has a long history of donating a portion of Nicha’s proceeds to various organizations in San Antonio. It is our belief that the success of our business should help improve our surrounding community.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Texas

Children in at-risk situations need role models to help them make positive life choices and achieve success. Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas, one of the largest chapters of this national organization, provides one-on-one mentors to San Antonio youth. Since 1978, thousands of children in the Bexar County Area have been positively impacted by staying in school, graduating and avoiding involvement in criminal activity. San Antonio Food Bank

Did you know that 49 million Americans are food insecure –– not knowing where their next meal will come from, or having to decide whether to buy food versus paying for other necessary expenses? To combat hunger within a 16-county area of southwest Texas, the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) provides food to more than 500 partner agencies, including churches, senior centers and shelters, which is then distributed to the public. Many of the users of SAFB's services are children, elderly, homeless, disabled or those with incomes below the poverty level. For more information, to donate or to volunteer, please visit
